I read this article every year. Every time it reveals me a perspective I wasn’t aware of. When I read it the first time, it was a slap in my face that helped me change my standard behavior: from someone who’s always thinking, arguing and judging, into someone who takes action when facing an adversity.
2. Book: The Last Safe Investment
This book helped me identify what skills I should develop in order to achieve my most ambitious goals – and how to do it!
I had always thought that I had more potential than what was requested of me. After reading it, I realized I shouldn’t wait for this request, but take charge of my future and start demanding it from myself. So I made the biggest decision of my life: I applied to Praxis.
You can live the most exciting academic experiences of your life without attending college.
During an “Economics of Entrepreneurship” seminar, I met incredible people, discovered Praxis, changed two of my core beliefs, as well as my whole life trajectory!
There are several scholarships available.
4. Educational Program: Praxis
The educational program I’m enrolled in. I truly believe they’re the future of education.
5. Theory: Myers-Briggs Type Indicator
There are some common misconceptions about Personality Types Theories. People think it’s only another label for people and you shouldn’t judge others based on a test.
In fact, you should use them as a way to comprehend people’s standard behaviors, and as a tool to develop more self-knowledge, not to judge or disqualify people right away. If you go deep into it, you’ll certainly have many insights about yourself and your social interactions.
As any model, it’s not exact, but it can help you make better predictions and decisions, because you have a bigger arsenal of probabilities, possibilities, and thought experiments.
