Hi, I’m Cássius.
I’m a Brazilian 19-year-old living and working in San Francisco. I’m the Advertising Operations Manager for a digital marketing startup called metadata.io. I’m also a proud Praxis alumnus and a self-development geek.
In 2016, after being accepted at my first-choice, debt-free university, I decided not to go.
I also quit my corporate job and became the first Brazilian participant at Praxis, an entrepreneurial program that helps you work at a startup, create your own educational curriculum, learn the skills you need, and create an experience that makes college irrelevant – all in 12 months.
You can read my story in details on my first blog post: how I’m breaking the mold.
I’m passionate about creating a life of impact, growth, and happiness.
For me, that means to elevate self-development to a new level.
Most industries we have today are going to be disrupted soon. Education, healthcare, real estate, governments, the job market itself… You name it.
With that, I believe the human search for meaning will become even more ardent. People need a reason to become the best they can be. And I strive to help them make these expansions of consciousness.
Right now, I’m learning and gathering field experience by working with innovation experts, at an amazing startup in Silicon Valley.
In parallel, I’m trying to help young people understand the power of entrepreneurship, technology, and their own minds, so they can take full advantage of living at such an exciting time.
That’s why I created this blog – to share my trajectory towards becoming the best I can be and to help others do so.
I love to talk about all this. Futurism, psychology, systems thinking, mental models, education, entrepreneurship, startups, sales, marketing, economics, philosophy, and libertarianism.
If you’re into some of these topics too, join me! I’ll let you know first-hand whenever a new article comes out.
